Baby Z is HERE!!!!!

Baby Z is HERE!!!!! He was born at 3:12 p.m. He is 8 lb 13 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. He has brown hair tinted with red. (not sure if it will be brown or red). Once I started pushing he was born in about 5 minutes. He is a sweetheart. . . . of course. Here are some fun pictures. :)

update

I thought I'd blog while in labor. :) Darin thought it was halarious. Hence, the picture.

Well, the nurse checked me and I'm only dilated to a 5 and 70% effaced. My body is going pretty slow. I think I was expecting it to go faster since it's my 3rd. Oh well. I'm not in pain and I'm just hanging out sleeping and watching tv. THank heavens for epidurals.

Around 11 a.m. My blood pressure dropped significantly and they gave me more fluids and some meds to get it back up. They have been checking my blood pressure every 30 minutes and things are good now. :) I've started to thin out, so maybe things will go faster???? maybe.

oh, when the dr. broke my water, there was meconium, so hopefully they will get his lungs cleaned out really good. I worry about it a little. :)

Newbe Epidural and Funny Doctor

7:30 am - H got an epidural from a trainee. She feels great now but she said she was a little nervous when the experienced nurse was telling the trainee everything to do. They made dad leave the room because they had so many dads passing out during the epidural. Soon after the epidural H went to sleep in peace with no pain after a long night of contractions.
9:30 am - Doctor decided to pay a visit. Funny how you have to rotate through 4 doctors for 9 months so that everyone knows your situation. Then when you are at the hopital chances are you will have a new doctor anyway. H likes to have one doctor the whole 9 months. The doctor is a funny man. He keeps all the nurses laughing. H was laughing too so as long as she is having fun we are OK. The contractions spaced out to every 4 minutes so they wanted to get things progressing. He broke her water and cracked a few jokes about the fact that H was listenning to her i-Pod during labor.

So we will see how things go from here!!??!!

Z-man is READY!

8:00 pm started noticing contractions.
9:00 pm started timing contractions 7 minutes apart.
1:00 am called doctor and decided to check it out.
1:30 am monitor showed minimal pain but consistant contractions.
2:00 am went on hour walk around hopital to speed up the process.
3:00 am stopped by security because we wondered into restricted area.
5:00 am dialated to a 2-3 so nurse said we were good to get a room. Person next to us came in my ambulance after bleeding some at 27 weeks. She seemed pretty scared.
6:00 am we are settled in our room contractions are more painful. Pain level 5 on a scale of 1-10. Waiting to dialate to a 3 so that H can get epidural.

TLC: baby story

Sooo, I like to watch the baby story on TLC as I walk at the gym. Well, the lady today was having her 3rd baby and was EIGHT days late. I thought it was suppose to be opposite. . . ZOIKS! That would totally be me if I wasn't going to be induced on the 8th. CRAZY!!!!!!!! Everyone send the have a baby vibe this way!!! :)

Hey, Any biggest loser fans out there????? I love it. What do you think so far? I think the transformations of all of them are AMAZING!!!! I wish I could do it.

ANOTHER DAY PREGNANT

Soooo, another day being pregnant. . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . .My due date is on Friday (by my calculations) the dr.'s calculations is Sunday the 6th. I'm doing o.k. being pregnant, but I would LOVE to go into labor on my own. I really don't think it will happen though. I'm just ready and waiting, but really I don't think I'll go on my own.

Sooooooo. . . Nothing really new today, just waiting. . . :)


So, here's a scary picture of me a couple of weeks ago. :) I can't believe I'm posting this, but I guess it needs to be documented somewhere. Hmachine, 9 months pregnant with baby #3! ZOIKS! I can't wait to post pictures of the baby and not the big prego mommy!!!! :)

I'm the last one standing

SOoooo, one of my good friends at church had the exact same due date that I have. . . . only she had her baby today and I'm still waiting. :) I'm glad she had her's. She had a baby boy that was over 9 lbs. :) hmmm?

I played the piano for sacrament meeting today (to fill in for my friend that had her baby) and totally stopped playing in the first song. I was thinking about something else and totally lost my place. I tried to figure out where everyone was singing and I finally got back on. HA HA. I had to laugh as everyone thought my water had broken while playing or that I had gone into labor. NOPE, I just spaced it. I luckily did better on the other 3 songs. ha ha. That is my funny story of the day.

I thought i'd attach some pictures. Because i think that's the best part of Blogs!!!

this is of Jordyn when she was 2. I LOVE this picture. I think it's totally Easter Morning. . . hair crazy, in a t-shirt with undies showing, not caring about much except getting the candy in the mouth. :)

The rest are from this Easter. Logan LOVED his glasses he got. Jordyn was THRILLED with the beautiful dress. In fact so thrilled that she had to put it on FIRST THING!!! She loves the high heels on her shoes. (sorry , not too great of picture of the shoes.)

Yeah D's home!!!!

Yeah, D came home yesterday and I'm sooo glad. I'm glad we didn't have baby Z while he was gone. I could have done it, but it would have been a bit sad. :) Not that my body thinks it's having a baby anytime soon.

We have a wedding we are going to tonight and of course J is THRILLED because she gets to dress in her pretty Easter dress with her church shoes that have heels!!!!! She was sooo stoked about those shoes. :) She loves to get her hair done and put bows in and look at herself in the mirror. how did I get a child like this. I've never been a girly girl. :) She likes to rough house too though and play hard outside also, so I guess she has both sides.

I, however, am not totally excited about going to the wedding looking like a big whale. I'm sooooooooo done with pregnancy comments. :) Yes, I gain most of it in my stomach, therefore my stomach is HUGE!!!!! and "ready to pop" as I get so often. oh well. I won't know anyone at the wedding because it is a high school buddy of D's so I guess they don't have to see me again, but on the other hand, I feel bad D has ME to show off tonight. ha ha ha. oh well. Good thing he loves me so much!!!

Hopefully I'll get a pic of the kids and D dressed up tonight so I can post it tomorrow. :)

So, here is J at swimming lessons. She LOVES swimming!!! I'm still testing this site out!
