Shoes that is. Meg has taken after her mama in the shoe department. The less the shoe, the better. I'm a barefoot kind of gal and have the feet to prove it (don't worry, I won't show any of you my feet!) Meg HATES shoes and takes them off the second she gets anywhere--the van, nursery, the gym, a friends house, outside if she just really gets sick of them. The other day, ALL of us were shopping at Kroger. I had the boys in my kart (the car kind that everyone fights over to be in) and D had the girls in his kart (the same car kind that everyone fights over to be in). I am use to watching out for flying or dropped shoes while shopping. D on the other hand is not. After shopping, he realized her shoes were not on her feet. He went back inside, hunted down the exact kart and only to find her boots gone. A nice old gentleman brought them to him and said he found them in the kart. OK fast forward a few days and here I am back at Krogers (have I ever mentioned I feel like I grocery shop ALL THE TIME) This time Z-man had tossed his shoes in the kart. A nice gentleman asked me if I knew there were shoes in the kart. I politely explained my children are shoeless people. He started to chuckle and explained he found some boots in the bottom of a kart just the other day.... I smiled and said, "yes, those were my daughter's shoes!!" He sort of looked at me in aw and I'm sure he wondered 'just what kind of mother are you?' So we are now known as the shoeless family at the local grocery chain!!!
Watch out for flying shoes! :)
