A visit that went toooooo fast!

Two of my very favorite people came to visit us!!!!  My mom and Dad are such amazing examples to me and I just feel better when they are around.   My mom never stopped helping me with kids and laundry and EVERYTHING.  And my Dad gave me a friend everywhere I went.  We were shopping buddies, baseball buddies, etc. etc.

I really wish I could see them more than just once a year, but I will take what I can get.  They are SERIOUSLY, the BEST parents in the whole wide world and we adore them.  My kids love them and ask often when they get to see them again.

The week went to quickly. . . We love you, mom and dad! :)

My Baby is 8!!

Today was such a great day.  J turned 8 today and not only did she get to celebrate her birthday, but her baptism.  She has been counting down the days for so long.  She has been working so hard to read the whole Book of Mormon by herself before she was baptized.  She made it a few days early.

Today was such a Sweet day.  I loved feeling the spirit as my baby girl was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  I know she is making a choice that will bless her for eternity.

Jordyn is SUCH an amazing girl.  she makes me happy every day!  She is kind and thoughtful, obedient, excited to be apart of life, and has so many talents.  I love her and feel blessed Heavenly Father picked us to be together in this life.  :)

I love you, Jordyn.  I'm so proud of you!

Happy Birthday . . . . TO J!!!

J had a great birthday.  She was baptized in the afternoon, but in the morning, she hung with the cousins and had a great time! :)  Check out the monster slip n' slide!

My attempt at a flip flop cake!  Too bad I did two right feet! LOL oh well at least she doesn't have two left feet! :)

 AND of course presents!

What an AWESOME 8 year old I have!!!!

Cousin Camp ....... 2011

We had such a great time with cousin Lysi this last week.  Her mom and sisters were at girls camp, so we decided to have a little camp of our own.  J and Lysi stayed up late each night giggling and playing, then continued to play all the days away.  We tie dyed pillow cases, went to the children's museum and spent time with Papa and Grandma.  We love you Lys, can't wait for next cousin camp!  :)

Here is a sneak peak of cousin camp creativity... more to come.  :)

We DID IT!!!!

We headed to the Children's museum and we actually got this block-thing to stay up.  ... .  ya, we were pretty proud of ourselves. :)  Good job girls!

Pool time!!

We've been hangin' by the pool quite a bit this summer.  Lo is quite proud that he now has a green band.  He had to pass a swim test (length of pool, tread water for 60 sec. and float on back.. something like that) and Meg is SOOO close to being able to swim with only the assistance of a floaty.  So that is fun for us.

But today we had a real treat.  One of our neighbors is moving (sad), and Darin helped them move today, so to say thank you, they let ALL of us come and play in their new pool!  Pretty sweet huh?  We thought so.  The kids especially liked the little diving board.  :)

Going for the flip!
 Ready to go again!!
YES, Z almost landed on Lo.....   Good thing he can jump so far!
 Nice Dive!!
 Dive/flip  :)

 Meg and Daddy!

The pencil???  That's what they called it!

Some Kickin' fun!!!

at SOCCER CAMP!!  J and Lo were able to go to soccer camp this week.  They woke up SOOO early because they were so excited to go.  They got everything ready and were in the van WAITING! :)   J asked me today if she could coach soccer and neither one of them want it to end tomorrow.

The coaches and the high school 'coaches' were really great this week.  I was impressed at the positive and fun attitude the High school kids had with the younger children and I feel that overall it was a happy successful week.  :)

GOOOOOAAAAAALLLLL!!!!!
