During one of Lo and J's soccer games there was a huge rain storm.  It came on suddenly and was a complete down poor.  They called Lo's game, but J played in the rain for a while.  It was quite AWESOME... :)

 We were able to go to a friends house over memorial day weekend and explore their awesome awesome new house.  This is a creek in their back yard.  The kids LOVED playing, exploring, and trying to catch fish!  :)

Mother's Day

For my mom's birthday (the day after mother's day), we recorded this with our cousins.  This is my mom's favorite primary song!  

I also love this song and love to think about what it will be like when Christ comes again!  What a wonderful day that will be!!!!!

Soccer 2014

Soccer is in FULL swing here! All of our kids are in soccer this season and having fun. Z and Meg are on the same team, so they get to be buddies for one more year. :)

J and Lo are having fun and learning lots.  Spring soccer is always tricky.. it rains a lot! BUT we are making the best of it and enjoying it when it's not rained out.

EASTER 2014

Happy Easter. 

We had a fun time with Darin's side of the family this weekend, although I didn't get any pictures.  oops.  We rode bikes on the little miami trail, played lots of games outside (so glad we had nice weather), and ate a lot of food!  :)

Today was a lovely day.  Just my little family relaxing and thinking about Christ.  It was a good day with lots of left over ham! :)

Family Home Evening Twister

My kids LOVE family home evening.  I hope that is always the case.  They make sure we remember-which is good.  Zander gave his first lesson today on when Christ visited the America's--see 3 Nephi in the Book of Mormon.  Logan conducted.  Megann had the activity and of course we had some awesome treats! :)

For your viewing pleasure here is one of the rounds of twister. :)  These kids crack me up.  I LOVE the stage of life my kids are in right now.  I LOVE that everyone can participate in activities and we can have fun!!!

Hello Sunshine!!

LOOK!!!  We are outside and NOT FREEZING!!!  :)  It felt so good to get out into the sunshine today.  Unfortunately, it is suppose to snow again tomorrow, HOWEVER, we will take the sunshine today!!!!

Once there was a snowman....

That NEVER melted. . .  

This winter has been COLD with tons of snow.  The first few snowfalls were fun to play in.  Then the negative degree weather came and--not so much fun to play in anymore!  :(    We have used all our snow days at school and have had 2 'blizzard bag' days.  These are do-your-work-at-home school days.  

In the 7 years we have been in this area, I have never seen a winter like this!  I felt like I was back in Utah! :)

This week we are suppose to reach all the way up to the 60's.  We are REALLY hoping for this.  We have been in the teens, zeros, negatives, I don't even know what for WAY too long.  I'm ready for a bike ride, run, trampoline day!  :)

Z-man made this snowman ALL by himself.  He was pretty proud! :)

 J, Meg, and I made a fort... or at least part of a fort until we got tired of building it!  LOL  ;)

Z-man's valentine's party

Can I first say that Z-man has LOVED kindergarten this year.  He has the BEST teacher.  He loves going on the bus and has a blast learning.  He is such a fun loving kid.  :)  I was able to go to his valentine party at school this year.  I usually don't get to go because the schools won't let me bring 'younger siblings' and since we are a family with 4 kids and the youngest is not yet in school, the 'youngest sibling' is my tag-a-long and not aloud at school parties.  Bummer, huh?  Oh well.  This time I swapped babysitting with a friend though. :)  It was fun to see Z-man in his classroom with his friends.  Kindergartners are AWESOME!!! :)

It was a typical party--games, sugar cookie decorating, etc. etc.  HOWEVER, since it's kindergarten, it is all so new and fun to them.  Which makes it fun for the adults! :)  :)
