let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!!

We have about 4-5 inches of snow. It's kind of fun to see and most of the kids had fun playing in it this afternoon. Poor Z-man thought it would be fun until he got out there and then decided it WAS NOT FUN!!!! He came in and took a nap! Much better!

Although they don't look that happy, they really were happy for some hot chocolate when they came in!! :)

what have we been doing!

o.k. since having four children, my blogging abilities have decreased dramatically, but I still want to keep some pictures and updates going . . sooo.

We are doing well. It seems as though there is never enough time to get things done, and not enough energy to do enough.

so here's what we've been up to:

dinosaur train birthday party for the boys. They had such a great time hunting for dinosaurs, playing on trains and of course eating cake!!! :)

J and Lo have LOVED gymnastics this winter.

Lo is our little social guy!! :) Here he is chattin' it up with a friend.

Lo likes to play basketball on the other side of the court while he waits for his class to start. :)

J likes doing cartwheels off the balance beam! Once D found out that they would be doing this in her class, he helped the kids practice doing cartwheels off the kitchen table. . ha ha haha!!! He's such a great dad!

We've played lots of games while it's so cold outside!!! Here is Z-man playing peek-a-boo

we have also played many computer games. . doesn't he look stimulated! HA

We played Hper Dash for FHE the other night. We got this game for Christmas and have now just found a chance to pull it out. It's really quite fun. You set up little cup-ish things around the house, the thing below will tell you which one to hit. . so you run around the house trying to remember where each color/number is and trying to get the fastest time. If you have any active boys in the house. . . it's GREAT!

Logan decided to play with the cups only inches apart from each other.

Zander doesn't play by the rules, but he sure does like to play. Here he is playing a game and giving me a "where's your teeth" smile again!!! :)

Other than that, I'm continuing to try to find hormonal balance after having four kids, D is working hard with. . well, everything--work, basement, church, etc, etc. but we are doing well.

D celebrated number 31 this month. We are sooo grateful and happy for him. He is such a GREAT husband and dad to our kids. :) I'm grateful I get to grow old with him. :)

Snow!!! Glorious Snow!!!!

Oh we love snow days!!!!! Meg and Z-man had fun playing together while J and Lo ventured out to the snow. We're stocked up with plenty of food, hot chocolate, games and movies, so we're set for the snow in!!! :)

Meg is growing up soooo fast. Isn't she sweet.

Yes, today Meg wore her very first barrette in her hair. . and guess who pulled it out all day???

But he makes up for it in kisses. :)

Oh glorious snow. so fun. This is taken through the window because I was too wimpy to go outside. . . ok actually I really wanted to go play with them, but bundling up two babies to freeze in the snow wasn't worth it. :)

too bad I had my camera on ISO 1600 from when I was playing around with some lighting stuff the other day. . . Or some of these cute pics would have been less grainy! oh well. :)
