End of School Bonfire

The school year is done.  Time to burn the homework.  We had a good time with friends swimming, playing badmitten, jumping on the tramp, and burning homework while making s'mores.

ER for Oral surgery for Logan

L was at a trampoline park tonight with his friends.  He did a double flip into the foam pit.  He stayed tucked as he went into the pit and his knee hit his mouth.  As you can see there was a lot of damage to the inner lip area.  After a few hours in the ER, we came home with a stitched up mouth.  OUCH!  he was a trooper, though.

New Liner for the Pool

We had to replace the liner this year because there was a hole in the seam.  (These pictures are backwards.)

J Spring orchestra concert.

I always love going to J's concerts.  She is such a talented woman.

My camera was being weird, so I had to stop and start a few songs.

Z came with me as my 'date'.  He is a fun date.

Baby Birds instead of hamburgers

I went outside to grill some hamburgers for dinner.  I took the cover off the grill (which has a bit tear in it) only to find a cute little nest with tiny baby birds inside.  

I cooked the hamburgers inside.  It will be fun to watch these little ones get bigger.

Easter 2019

I should have gotten a picture of us all in our Easter best!  ooops.  I did however, get a picture of D getting his Easter basket that J hid.  She decided to get him back after all these years of him hiding her basket.  :)  WAY UP IN THE TREE!!!

Also, silly string fights are always great!

A few fun things!

Jordyn went to HOSA state competition in Columbus 

and came in FIRST!  She heads to Orlando

this summer to compete internationally!  

We are so proud of her.

front porch.   I really like planting things.

Meg came home with hers today and it is sooo cute.

She made an artist.  All the attention to detail is amazing.

Conference Weekend

It is General Conference time.  I didn't take too many pictures, but we had fun eating breakfast (apple pancakes and syrup... yumm) with friends.  In between sessions, Z and J climbed trees while we watched a tow truck tow a semi that got stuck in our front lawn.

The kids also decided to do a polar plunge.  The water temp. was 56 degrees F.  brrr.

Happy Birthday Z-man

Wow, I can't believe Z is 11 years old.  He loves being outside in the woods, building fires, riding the 4-wheeler or motorcycles.  He is in Honors math and loves math the best.  He does enjoy listening to a good book on audible.  :)

Heavy, heavy hang over thy poor head.....

Z's friend, Jayden, came to say happy birthday... and climb a tree.  :) 

It was fun to go eat lunch with Z today.
