Easter 2019

I should have gotten a picture of us all in our Easter best!  ooops.  I did however, get a picture of D getting his Easter basket that J hid.  She decided to get him back after all these years of him hiding her basket.  :)  WAY UP IN THE TREE!!!

A few fun things!

Jordyn went to HOSA state competition in Columbus 

and came in FIRST!  She heads to Orlando

this summer to compete internationally!  

We are so proud of her.

I planted a couple of these planters for our

front porch.   I really like planting things.

Meg came home with hers today and it is sooo cute.

Conference Weekend

It is General Conference time.  I didn't take too many pictures, but we had fun eating breakfast (apple pancakes and syrup... yumm) with friends.  In between sessions, Z and J climbed trees while we watched a tow truck tow a semi that got stuck in our front lawn.

The kids also decided to do a polar plunge.  The water temp. was 56 degrees F.  brrr.

Happy Birthday Z-man

Wow, I can't believe Z is 11 years old.  He loves being outside in the woods, building fires, riding the 4-wheeler or motorcycles.  He is in Honors math and loves math the best.  He does enjoy listening to a good book on audible.  :)

Heavy, heavy hang over thy poor head.....

Z's friend, Jayden, came to say happy birthday... and climb a tree.  :) 

It was fun to go eat lunch with Z today.  

He has really great friends.  

Playing with Cousins

This is the end of our spring break and the beginning of cousins spring break.  It was fun to have a few days to play.  We love family!

Meet Ziggy

We got the cutest new kitty today.  We named him Ziggy.  He is such a funny, crazy little guy.  It is funniest when he jumps with arched back sideways.  He and oreo are trying to get use to each other (Update from a couple weeks later:  Oreo and Ziggy are great friends.  Ziggy won't leave Oreo alone and loves to wrestle )

He has been such a great light in our home.

Meg gets her tonsils out.

Meg was so brave today.  She had her tonsils out.  She had been getting a lot of tonsil stones and inflamed tonsils, so we decided to take them out.

It was an up and down week, but she has been brave and has done 

such a great job.

The first day she couldn't keep anything down.  We did tylonal and motrin around the clock.

She struggled with Alice in Wonderland syndrome if we gave her the heavier meds.

It took about 8 or 9 days before she was totally off medicine.

Beautiful J DRIVING

J has had her permit for a few months, but she just looked so pretty and grown up on our way to church today.  She is growing up to be an AMAZING woman.

Indy Open

Meg and I headed to Indy today for a competition.

She did a great job and did her freestyle routine PERFECTLY!!

Tonight was YW New beginnings.  J helped me set up Value Valley.  It was a Candy Land theme (seek the sweet).  J and I made a Valley out of balloons in the value colors.

Valentine's day orchestra concert.

It was a Valentine's day orchestra concert tonight.  I always love listening to J play.
